Fat Face Night Sail
A follow up to Fat Face night surf and night windsurf events. Night sail will be held at Mount Batten Plymouth on 5th July 2008. Fat Face will be inviting 14 classes of boats, each with a maximum of 10 boats who will race in their class from 12.00 to 18.00 on a one lap team racing style course, for each race to last approx. 12 - 15 mins long, two courses. At the end the top 3 from each class will go into the finals which will be held in neutral boats.
Finals to start at 20.00 right beside floodlight Mount Batten breakwater. Third place in each class race in the Bronze final, second place in the silver final and first in the gold final producing an overall winner.
The results of each classes rep in each final will be added together to produce a champion class class who will win 1000 pounds to promote their class. Prize giving as competitors walk off the water still in their sailing gear, fireworks, champagne. Then straight into monster party in marquee at Mount Batten. There is going to be added sponsorship from a drinks company, probably a German Lager company. We have booked all accomodation at Mount Batten and in a hotel next door at 16.00 pounds a head.
